Greetings to all course participants!
I am writing this blog post from Oxford where I am currently staying for my Christmas/New Year break after attending my graduation ceremony at the University of Leeds where I studied for my Master's in TESOL and ICT.
I am really excited about this new opportunity to work together with teachers from around the world discussing some issues associated with literacy in its current interpretation. It would be interesting to learn how literacy issues are addressed by the course participants in their context. I am willing to share mine and looking forward to learning from all of you:). I am sure it will be a rewarding experience from which both we and our students will benefit.
I am particularly interested in teaching writing using different ICT because I consider it to be a very good way of combining mastering a variety of skills necessary today in a meanigful way.I am interested too in the views on acquiring multiliteracy other teachers have and what they do for learning to happen.

I know several Webheads that are currently studying this Master. Congratulations!! I´ve been told that it is quite demanding and that you learn a lot.
Currently I teach language at a local Bilingual School in Buenos Aires. Please take a look at some of the websites I used with my students last year http://jenverschoor.wordpress.com/2010/10/11/my-best-websites-to-te.... I hope you find them useful.
Looking forward to learing and sharing together.
Warm regards
Jennifer
